How to Create a Talent Account at HireTalent.ph
We’re super glad you’re looking to create an account and find an incredible job. Creating an account only takes a few minutes, but it will unlock a lifetime of opportunities for you.
Here’s how to get started:
1. Registration
To begin your journey with HireTalent, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the HireTalent.ph registration page.
- Fill in your email address and create a strong, unique password.
- Check the four checkboxes.
- I am a Filipino worker.
- I am registering as an individual, not an agency/company.
- I do not have an existing account.
- I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Click the Register button to create your account.
2. Onboarding Process
After successfully registering, you’ll need to complete the onboarding process to provide essential information about yourself:
Log in to your newly created account. You’ll be automatically directed to the onboarding page.
#1 Personal Information
- Upload a professional profile picture that clearly shows your face
- Enter your Date of Birth and Current Address (Only the city and country will be shown in public)
- Use the dropdown for your gender. (If you want to hide your profile photo, age, and gender, go to Settings once your account is verified. Scroll down the page to read the step-by-step procedure.)
- Hit the Next button.
#2 Rate & Time Information
- Choose your Desired Work Type (Full-time, Part-Time, Project-based)
- Enter your Desired Hourly Salary. If you’re not sure what to enter, check out our VA Salary Guide.
- Enter your Availability (number of hours per week).
- Enter your Job Title. Choose the one that aligns with your skills so potential employers can easily find you. Use capital letters only when necessary. To attract targeted employers, be as specific as you can. If you’re good at admin tasks, write Admin Virtual Assistant instead of simply Virtual Assistant.
- Hit the Next button.
#3 Portfolio
- Enter at least one of your social media profiles or your portfolio/personal website/blog. (This is for verification purposes only and will not appear on your profile.)
- Write your Profile Description. Use this part to highlight your skills and experiences and stand out to potential employers. For security purposes, don’t include your full name, email address, or any contact information. To give you an idea, read our comprehensive guide on How to Write an Irresistible Profile Description.
- Hit the Next button.
Note:
- If you are a Vetted talent, you can edit your profile description. To understand the benefits of getting vetted and how to become one, proceed to the Vetting Process section below.
- If you are a Verified talent, you must contact us before we allow you to edit it.
#4 Education
- Choose your Educational Attainment and enter the details of your educational background (degree, institution, graduation year)
- Enter the certifications you have earned (Optional).
- Hit the Next button.
#5 Professional + Job Experience
- Choose at least one language you know and your proficiency level.
- Enter your typing speed (Words Per Minute).
- Check your internet speed using speedtest.net and share the link in the field. Please refer to our SpeedTest Verification Guide.
- Hit the Next button.
#6 Skills & Tools
- Select at least one Skill, Tool, and Industry, as well as your experience level and proficiency for each. To increase your visibility to potential employers and chances of getting hired. Choose those that are relevant to your job title and profile description.
- Hit the Next button.
#7 Verification
- Select your ID Type
- Upload a clear copy of your chosen valid ID with your complete name, photo, and date of birth.
- Upload a photo of your selfie while holding your ID.
Notes:
- We don’t share your sensitive photos with anyone and hide them from the public and employers.
- We delete these images about 2 weeks after we verify your account. We will also email you once we delete them.
#8 Referral
- Simply choose where you heard from us.
#9 Confirm Email & Submit Profile
- Click the Send a confirmation email button.
- Check your Inbox. You should receive a 6-digit email verification code.
- Enter the verification code on the field and click the Verify Code button. Take note of the time limit.
- If you’re unable to enter the code on time, click the Send a confirmation email button again to receive a new code.
- If everything goes well, you will see a note that your email address has been verified.
- Hit the Finish & Submit button.
3. Verification Wait Period
After submitting your onboarding information, your profile will enter a verification queue, and your account page will show, Your Account is Now Pending Activation.
- You’ll receive an email notification about the status of the pending verification.
- The HireTalent team will review your information to ensure it meets our quality standards and authenticity requirements.
- This process typically takes 1-2 business days, depending on the volume of applications we have to review that day. Generally, it’s faster than this.
- You’ll receive an email notification once your account is verified and activated.
4. Vetting Process (Optional but Highly Recommended)
To increase your chances of getting hired and stand out to employers, consider participating in the vetting process:
- While logged in, click your profile photo and go to the Get Vetted tab.
- Review the vetting process requirements, which include:
- Skills assessments (short live quiz)
- Background and reference checks
- Verification of education and work experience

How to Hide Your Profile Photo, Age, and Gender
Employers and the public can see your profile photo, age, and gender. If you want to hide them, here are the steps:
- Log in to your account
- Tap or click your profile photo and choose Settings.
- Under the Profile Settings, check your chosen checkboxes.
- Hide my profile photo from being shown publicly.
- Hide my age and gender from being shown publicly.
- Hit the Save Changes button.

To maintain visibility on the platform and increase your chances of getting hired:
- Check your email regularly for possible application invitations from potential employers.
