How to Create Trial Tasks and Assign Them to Talent
TLDR: Trial tasks help you go beyond resumes to see how applicants actually perform. They reveal real-world skills, communication style, and reliability before you hire. With HireTalent.ph, you can easily create tasks, assign them to candidates, and review submissions, all in one place.
For example:
– Hiring a writer? Ask them to draft a 300-word blog post on a sample topic.
– Hiring a virtual assistant? Have them organize a mock inbox and draft replies
Giving job applicants a trial task helps assess their real-world skills beyond what’s on their CVs. It reveals how they approach problems, communicate, and meet deadlines, ensuring a better fit for the role before making a hiring decision.
At HireTalent.ph, we’ve made it easy for you to create trial tasks, assign them to applicants, and review their submissions—all in one place. This article explains how to assign trial tasks to a shortlisted candidate. If you want to learn more about trial tasks, check out this article.
