Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to manage and grow multiple social media accounts across different websites. This role requires someone who can take ownership of content strategy, execution, and performance while ensuring consistency across all brands.

We are specifically looking for someone with proven experience in growing social media audiences and creating highly engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute social media strategies across multiple brands/websites
• Oversee and support a junior social media assistant
• Plan, create, and schedule content (posts, reels, stories, carousels)
• Manage social media accounts for the following websites:
  • What’s the Jam
  • Need to Know
  • Additional websites as needed
• Write engaging captions aligned with each brand’s voice
• Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement
• Conduct hashtag research and trend analysis
• Track performance metrics and provide reports
• Maintain content calendars for multiple accounts
• Ensure consistency and quality across all platforms

Requirements

• 3–5 years experience managing social media accounts
• Proven experience handling multiple brands or accounts simultaneously
• Proven track record of growing social media audiences and increasing engagement
• Strong English communication (written and verbal)
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and backup plan
