I’m looking for an experienced WordPress Web Developer to complete a 20-hour project focused on improving the overall performance, usability, and visibility of my website. The site content and wording are ready, the priority is to optimise layout, design, and SEO for a professional, user-friendly experience.

Scope of Work:

Review current website structure and recommend improvements

Implement SEO best practices (site speed, meta tags, headings, alt text, schema, internal linking)

Refine site layout for better navigation and usability across desktop and mobile

Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Optimise overall site performance (loading times, caching, image optimisation)

Enhance UI/UX for clarity, readability, and engagement

Install/configure plugins if needed to support SEO and performance improvements

Provide a short report at the end of the project summarising key changes and recommendations for future updates

Requirements:

Proven experience in WordPress development and SEO optimisation

Strong eye for design, usability, and layout improvements

Knowledge of Elementor (or similar page builders) preferred

Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, RankMath, Yoast)

Ability to deliver clear improvements within a limited project scope (20 hours)

Strong communication skills and ability to provide regular updates
