Video Editor (Short-Form | Ali Abdaal Style)

Remote (Philippines-Based, preferably someone in Bicol Region) | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PH Time
We connect creative professionals with fast-growing, values-driven brands. Right now, we’re hiring a dedicated Video Editor for a UK-based personal branding agency creating clean, engaging short-form video content for entrepreneurs and thought leaders.
You’ll be officially hired under Growthside and work closely with the client. We’ll co-manage your performance, provide support and coaching, and make sure you’re set up for long-term success.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Match clean, story-driven editing styles similar to Ali Abdaal or Dan Koe
- Work on both high-effort, fast-paced edits and simpler captioned videos
- Communicate clearly and consistently about progress and challenges
- Organize files through Google Drive and follow version control
- Deliver an average of 1 to 2 edits per day, depending on complexity
Requirements/Qualifications
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Have strong experience with short-form video editing
- Are skilled in Premiere Pro or a similar editing tool
- Understand storytelling, pacing, and visual engagement
- Are reliable, responsive, and take ownership of your work
- Are open to feedback and want to grow in a long-term role
Tools You'll Use:
- Premiere Pro (preferred)
- Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Frame.io or similar tools for feedback and delivery
- Slack, WhatsApp, or email for day-to-day updates
Compensation & Setup:
- PHP 20,000 to 30,000 per month, depending on experience and skill
- Paid monthly via Wise
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PH Time
- Google Workspace account with large storage provided
- Growthside will support you with regular check-ins, coaching, and coverage if needed
