We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Video Editing Assistant to support our content production workflow.
This role focuses on preparing and organizing video/audio content, not full creative editing.
You will be working with Riverside recordings (podcasts/interviews) and preparing files for final editing and publishing.
Responsibilities
Pull correct Riverside sessions based on provided instructions
Label and organize files clearly and consistently
Trim obvious dead space and long pauses (rough cleanup only)
Prepare clips for editing (no advanced editing required)
Organize outputs into structured folders (Google Drive)
Add basic metadata (titles, file names, tags if needed)
Queue prepared project files for final editor
(Optional) Create draft exports if workflow allows
What This Is NOT
Not high-level creative editing
Not storytelling or heavy effects
Not motion graphics
This is process-driven, repeatable work
Requirements
Experience with basic video/audio editing tools (Descript, Premiere, CapCut, or similar)
Ability to follow clear instructions exactly
Strong attention to detail (file naming, organization matters)
Reliable communication and turnaround time
Comfortable working with cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox)
Nice to Have
Experience with Riverside.fm
Experience editing podcasts or interviews
Familiarity with removing filler words / pauses
