Cinematic Filmer (Philippines – Full Time)

Blind 8 is a fast-growing hospitality and media brand creating unique dinner parties and cultural experiences around the world. Our mission is to spark real human connection through social bravery, and to tell those stories through cinematic, documentary-style content.

We’re seeking a dedicated filmer based in the Philippines to capture 40 hours of unique, cinematic, horizontal 4K footage for 2 weeks. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for storytelling through visuals, comfort shooting people and environments in natural light, and the discipline to consistently deliver high-quality footage. This footage will be used for B-roll in Blind 8 short-form and long-form videos.

Responsibilities

• Film 40 hours of unique, cinematic content weekly in horizontal format at 4K resolution.

• Capture a mix of B-roll, candid interactions, lifestyle, and environmental footage that reflects the energy and connection of Blind 8.

• Apply creative framing, movement, and natural lighting to achieve a cinematic look.

• Deliver raw footage weekly in organized digital folders (Google Drive/Dropbox).

• Maintain consistency in quality, framing, and style based on Blind 8 brand guidelines.

• Ensure all footage is copyright-cleared and original.

• Coordinate with the Blind 8 creative team on weekly filming briefs and themes.

Qualifications

• Based in the Philippines with ability to film in diverse locations (urban, lifestyle, social environments).

• Proven experience in cinematic or documentary-style filming.

• Own a DSLR/mirrorless camera or cinema camera

• Skilled in operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras or cinema cameras.

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and movement.

• Ability to film horizontal 4K content consistently.

• Reliable equipment (camera, lenses, stabilizer/gimbal, audio gear preferred).

• Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver on deadlines
