Special Categories & What They Mean

When completing your HireTalent.ph profile, you’ll be asked to select any special categories that match your expertise. This guide explains each category and helps you determine which ones apply to you.

Special categories help us verify your skills and match you with the right job opportunities. If your skills fall into one of these categories, you must select it — applications that fail to select a relevant category will be rejected.

If you select a category, you’ll need to provide a portfolio link to verify your experience. We’ve been continuously increasing our standards and will only allow you to self-select special categories if you are able to provide demonstrable experience in it. This is part of our platform quality improvement guidelines and minimum salary requirements.
