2025 was a transformational year for HireTalent.ph. It was the first full year of our platform being live and we did a lot.
We shipped over 15 major features, redesigned core parts of the platform, and focused on one goal: making it easier for Filipino talent to showcase their skills and for employers to find their perfect remote team members.
Here’s everything we built this year.
Helping Employers:
Custom Questions Builder
Generic cover letters rarely tell employers what they need to know. We replaced them with something better: custom application questions. Employers can now add up to 10 tailored questions per job post—including text responses, voice recordings, and video uploads. We even added AI-powered question suggestions based on job descriptions to help employers ask the right things.
Job Badges
Not all jobs are equal, and now they don’t look equal either. We launched a badge system that highlights key job attributes: Featured, Verified Employer, Urgent Hiring, Top Company, Quick Response, High Salary, Entry Level Welcome, and more. These badges help talent quickly identify opportunities that match what they’re looking for.
AI-Powered Features
We introduced AI credits for premium employers, unlocking tools like AI-generated job descriptions and AI-suggested application questions. These features help employers create better job posts in less time.
Faster Employer Onboarding
Getting to your first job post should be fast. We sped up employer onboarding with auto-selected currencies, fewer required fields, and a new post-onboarding flow that reduces friction and gets employers hiring faster.
Dashboard Overhaul
Both talent and employer dashboards got major upgrades—cleaner card designs, better mobile responsiveness, and improved navigation throughout.
Helping Talent:
Portfolio System
Your work speaks louder than a resume. We launched a complete portfolio section where talent can upload work samples, case studies, and projects directly to their profiles. Whether you’re a designer showcasing mockups, a VA demonstrating systems you’ve built, or a developer sharing code samples—your portfolio now lives right where employers are looking.
Soft Skills Library
Technical skills get you in the door. Soft skills get you hired. We added 197 soft skills to the platform, letting talent highlight qualities like communication style, problem-solving approach, and teamwork preferences. Employers consistently tell us cultural fit matters just as much as experience & now there’s a better way to show it.
Voice & Video Samples
Sometimes you need to hear someone to know they’re the right fit. Talent can now upload voice and video samples to their profiles, giving employers a sense of communication style, English proficiency, and personality before the first interview.
Work Setup Traits
Remote work requires more than just skills—it requires the right setup. We introduced 8 work setup traits that talent can add to their profiles: Backup Internet, Backup Power, Dedicated Workspace, Noise-Canceling Headset, Quiet Environment, Any Timezone availability, Flexible Schedule, and Fast Computer.
Behind the Scenes
Better Search & Matching
We improved our search infrastructure to improve job-talent matching, making recommendations more accurate and relevant.
ManagePH Integration
We fully integrated our talent management tools into the main platform, giving employers a seamless experience for managing their remote teams—from hiring through time tracking and payments. More on this later in the year..!
What’s Next
2025 was about building foundations. We’ve created better ways for talent to showcase their skills and better tools for employers to find and evaluate candidates.
In 2026, we’re doubling down on what’s working—more ways for talent to stand out, smarter matching between talent and opportunities, and continued improvements to make remote hiring seamless. Also integrating the entire hiring & management process in one platform.
