How you get paid on HireTalent.ph
Your employer pays in USD. Wise converts it to PHP at the real mid-market rate. The pesos land in your local bank — usually within hours. HireTalent.ph never touches your money.

Add your bank account
Once you're approved on HireTalent.ph, head to your dashboard at /talent/settings and open the Payment Account card. Pick PHP as your payout currency (recommended — Wise converts directly into your peso account at the real rate). Then fill in your bank name, account number, and account holder name. The fields you see are the exact same fields Wise itself asks for. Nothing extra.

We verify your account with Wise
As soon as you save your details, we run them through Wise to confirm the account is real and reachable. This usually takes a few seconds and you only do it once. You'll see a status badge on your Payment Account card: "Verified" means you're set, "Needs Review" means something looked off (usually a typo), and "Validation Failed" means the account couldn't be reached. If anything fails, fix the field Wise flagged and save again.

Submit a payment request
When it's time to get paid, click "New Payment Request" on your /talent/payments page. You'll fill in the team, start and end dates of the period, hours worked, the amount in USD, and a short description. Your employer gets the request, reviews it (and asks any questions in chat if needed), and approves it. Cadence — weekly, biweekly, monthly — is whatever you and your employer agreed on. No PDFs, no chasing, no paperwork.

What this costs you

How you can be paid out
Almost every Filipino on the platform uses PHP — Wise has the deepest support and the best rate for it. USD is also available if you have a USD-receiving account.
Common questions
Does HireTalent.ph take a cut of my pay?
No. Zero. The full USD amount your employer approves gets converted by Wise and lands in your bank. We make money from the employer's subscription, not from your paycheck.
How long does it take to land in my bank?
Most Wise transfers to PH banks (BPI, BDO, UnionBank, Metrobank, GCash-linked banks, etc.) arrive within hours and almost always within 1 business day. Wise will show you a precise ETA before the transfer is sent.
What about fees and exchange rates?
Wise charges a small, transparent transfer fee (usually around 0.5–1% — much less than banks, PayPal, or Western Union) and uses the real mid-market exchange rate, the same rate you see on Google. There are no hidden HireTalent.ph fees on top.
Why are my invoices in USD?
Your contract rate is set in USD because most of our employers are US-based. The conversion to PHP happens at the moment Wise sends the transfer, at the live mid-market rate — so you always know what you're owed and you get the best rate at payout time.
Do I need a Wise account?
No. You only need a regular bank account in your country. Your employer is the one with the Wise business account — they're the ones sending the money.
What about taxes?
You're an independent contractor, so you're responsible for declaring and paying taxes on your earnings in your own country. HireTalent.ph doesn't withhold taxes. If you're unsure how to handle it, talk to a local accountant — it's usually simpler than people expect.
My account verification failed. What do I do?
Almost always a typo — a wrong digit in the account number, the wrong bank, or a name that doesn't match the bank's records exactly. Re-check the field Wise flagged on your Payment Account card and save again. If it keeps failing, message support from /talent/support and we'll help you sort it out.
