Frequently Asked Questions

Do candidates get paid for trial tasks?

It depends on the task. Short, low-effort tasks (a quick writing sample, a 15-minute data-entry test) are often unpaid, and that's fine. For anything substantial — real work that takes more than an hour — we strongly recommend paying. You agree on the amount when creating the task and pay the candidate directly (Wise or your preferred method). In-platform payment is on the way.

How long should a trial task take?

Most employers set deadlines of 24-72 hours for small tasks, or up to a week for more complex projects. Keep tasks focused—2-4 hours of actual work is usually enough to evaluate quality.

Can I assign trial tasks to multiple candidates?

Yes. You can shortlist multiple applicants and assign the same trial task to each. Compare their work side-by-side before making your final hiring decision.

What happens after a candidate completes a trial task?

You review their submission, provide feedback, and send payment directly to the candidate. If you're happy with the work, extend a job offer right from the platform.
